Frequently asked questions about ExplOrbit
You receive a personalised ExplOrbit Conservation Land Claim Certificate (first edition, collectible) naming a specific territory, its selenographic coordinates, and a unique registry reference, recorded as your pledge of stewardship for land on the Moon. Your claim is recorded permanently in the ExplOrbit registry. The package also includes an ExplOrbit MoonFacts Booklet with coloring pages, the ExplOrbit First Edition custom decal, and the ExplOrbit Galactic Passport.
No, and we will never claim otherwise. Under the 1967 Outer Space Treaty no nation may claim sovereignty over the Moon, so no legally recognised real-property title to lunar land exists anywhere. An ExplOrbit certificate is a commemorative collectible and an official recorded pledge of stewardship.
ExplOrbit sells one package: the ExplOrbit Galaxy Gift Package, $129 with free shipping. It includes a personalised ExplOrbit Conservation Land Claim Certificate (first edition) recording the coordinates of a named territory as your pledge of stewardship, one ExplOrbit MoonFacts Booklet with coloring pages, one ExplOrbit First Edition custom decal, and one ExplOrbit Galactic Passport. One price, no tiers, no add-ons, and nothing else to buy.
Each territory in the ExplOrbit registry has fixed selenographic latitude and longitude drawn from documented lunar regions. When you select a territory it is held for you, then permanently assigned once payment is confirmed on our server. No two customers can ever be assigned the same territory.
Yes. Add a partner, a family, a classroom, or a research group. Whatever you enter at checkout is recorded on the certificate and in the ExplOrbit registry exactly as written, so check your spelling before confirming.
Yes. The ExplOrbit stewardship pledge is a lifetime commitment and can be passed on as a gift or inheritance. Contact the ExplOrbit registry with your certificate number to record a transfer.

Yes. Every ExplOrbit certificate has a number that anyone can check on our public verification page. Verification confirms the territory, region, acreage, and issue date. It never exposes your email, address, payment details, or order information.
Card details are handled entirely by a PCI-compliant payment provider and never touch our servers or database. We store only a transaction reference and status. Prices are resolved server-side from our own catalogue, so a price cannot be altered in the browser.
The Moon has no atmosphere, so nothing erodes and nothing heals. A mining pit or rover scar lasts for millions of years. Commercial extraction is being planned for the same polar regions that hold the greatest scientific value. Conservation arguments need to exist before that begins, not after.
Yes. It is an original alternative to gadgets and gift cards for anyone who enjoys the night sky, science or a one-of-a-kind keepsake, and it arrives as one complete gift box with free standard shipping in the US. Orders typically ship within one to two business days of payment, and the delivery estimate for your address is shown at checkout, so for Christmas and Hanukkah gifts we recommend ordering early in December.
People of all ages who look up: stargazers and amateur astronomers, curious kids and students, science teachers and scientists, rockhounds and meteorite fans, and space fans who follow every Apollo and Artemis story. The package combines children's activities with a collectible certificate for adults, so it also works as a family gift. Our gift guide has a page for each of them.
Yes. At checkout you can add an optional dedication of up to 240 characters, printed on the certificate in your own words alongside the name or names you choose. Many buyers use it to record a birthday, a wedding or anniversary date, a new baby's arrival, a graduation, or a few words in memory of someone special.
