Terms & Legal Notice
Effective Aug 15, 2026
These terms govern your purchase from ExplOrbit and your use of explorbitmoonland.com. By placing an order, you accept them.
1. What you are buying
ExplOrbit sells a symbolic, personalised conservation record: a named entry in our private registry associated with a specific lunar territory, plus a physical certificate and collectible items shipped to you. Under the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, no nation or private entity can claim sovereignty over the Moon. ExplOrbit does not sell, transfer, or convey any real property right, title, deed, or legally recognised ownership interest in the Moon or any part of it. What you receive is a recorded stewardship pledge and a collectible certificate, not real estate, an investment, or a security. It has no resale value guarantee and confers no legal, governmental, or scientific standing.
2. Orders and pricing
Prices are shown in US dollars and are set and verified on our servers at the time of checkout; the price charged is the price confirmed on the order summary before payment. Shipping is calculated for the delivery country you select and is added at checkout. Selecting a territory places a short, timed hold on it while you complete payment; if payment is not completed, the hold expires automatically and the territory becomes available again.
3. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. An order is confirmed only once payment has been verified; your certificate is issued after that confirmation, not before.
4. Shipping and delivery
Orders are prepared promptly and ship the day they are received. Standard delivery takes approximately 10 business days. Buyers who need their order sooner may choose expedited delivery at checkout for an additional $20.75, arriving within approximately 3 business days. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are provided by the destination's shipping zone and are estimates, not guarantees; carrier delays are outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you once a package is handed to the carrier, except where local law provides otherwise.
5. Personalisation
You are responsible for the accuracy of any name or text you submit for personalisation. Because certificates are produced to order after you submit that text, personalised items cannot be resold to another customer once production has started.
6. Cancellations and returns
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel; we can cancel an order that has not yet shipped. Because each certificate is personalised and tied to a specific registry entry, personalised orders are not eligible for return once shipped, except where the item arrives damaged or defective, or where applicable law requires otherwise. If your package arrives damaged, contact us with photos and your order reference and we will make it right.
7. Registry and verification
Each certificate carries a number that can be checked on our public verification page, confirming the territory, region, and status recorded against it. The registry is maintained by ExplOrbit for as long as we operate it; it is not a government or judicial record.
8. Disclaimer
ExplOrbit is a conservation and collectibles registry, not a real‑estate business, and we will never represent otherwise. The site, products, and registry are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExplOrbit disclaims all warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded, and our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Contact
Questions about an order or these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
